About this role
We need an Innovation Manager that is focused on the digitalisation of businesses, civil society, and the public sector. As an Innovation Manger, you’ll lead and develop the processes that turn innovation investments into value for both people and organisations. You’ll participate in the regional work, the national networks, and in the European digital innovation hubs. You’re convinced that digitalisation and innovation are the future, and you want to promote the possibilities this represents.
Our Innovation Manager will work to create innovation in collaboration with many different players. The common denominators are digitalisation and the possibilities offered by technologies of the future. It’s not often that technology acts as a barrier to innovation, but more often than not the surrounding culture, values, and policies. As an Innovation Manager you’ll work with leadership in what we refer to as the “organisational middle ground”. You’ll drive the implementation of substantial investments in innovation as a step towards solving our looming societal challenges. And you’ll be part of a team that has a leading role in realising the possibilities of digitalisation.
Getting people from various organisations to engage with, and work towards, a single vision with differing goals, is nothing short of a monumental leadership challenge. And that’s exactly what we want you to be really good at.

We’re a cluster of around 100 businesses in the technology sector in Värmland. We act as a resource for both companies and organisations focused on economic growth, and we want to help them expand and become competitive with the help of digital technology. We work with innovation from both a national and international perspective, and we drive large innovation projects such as DigitalWell Arena and DigitalWell Ventures. This demands that we think beyond tomorrow, and drive digital development and innovation through collaboration.
