Attractiveness Värmland

What is the state of equality and competence provision in the Värmland workplaces?

It explores Attraktionskraft Värmland, which together with companies, cluster organizations and municipalities will find keys that promote attractive workplaces in the county.

The project is run by Region Värmland and the main aim is to contribute to a strengthened labor market in Värmland. Here, the region, municipalities and business collaborate to give companies and organizations tools to be able to recruit more equally and improve their skills supply.

The primary target group is organizations in industries with uneven gender distribution and large recruitment needs. These industries are the forest industry, the engineering industry and ICT, which are represented in the project by the cluster organizations Paper Province, IUC/Stål & Verkstad and Compare.
Healthcare is also such an identified industry.

The project has five sub-goals. Two of them are about getting people in the underrepresented group to become interested in the professions and training that lead to jobs. Two other sub-goals are about the corporate culture and working environment being attractive to all groups, including the underrepresented.
